Leea Nanos last month went to the Palladium located inside Melbourne’s Crown Casino to participate in The Alannah and Madeline Foundation’s ‘Starry Starry Night Gala Ball’.

For our International readers, The Alannah and Madeline Foundation was established after the girls and their mother were three of the thirty-five people who were mercilessly gunned down in Port Arthur, Tasmania on April 28 and 29 1996.

The Alannah & Madeline Foundation’s aim since it’s opening on the 30th of April 1997  is to keep children safe from violence, a job it has done well for the last 18 years.

The ‘Starry Starry Night Gala Ball’ was a big event as television stars from the Seven and Nine Networks were among the 1000 people that filled the Palladium on this evening , those in attendance were treated to Leea’s rendition of ‘I Know Where I’ve Been’.

This rendition has been filmed with high quality audio and visual elements allowing viewers to get the best experience of what it was like on that important night for both Leea and The Alannah & Madeline Foundation.

YMA hopes that readers will take the time to view the links on offer to greatly understand events and to perhaps be a contributor to the Foundation sometime in the future.
