Cassidy-Rae Wilson who as we all know is a fantastic performer is also one of two Youth Ambassadors that serve The Hills Shire Council in Sydney and so she brought to our attention an event that will no doubt grab the attention of all young performers in The Hills Shire area in the age groups of 6 years old to 12 years old who make up the Junior category and the 13 year olds to 18 year olds who make up the Senior category.
The Open Mic takes place at Centre Court, Middle Level at Castle Towers on Thursday May 29, Thursday June 12 and Thursday June 19 with the final taking place on July 17, the prizes on offer are $100 for the winner of each of the heats and $50 for those who place second and in the final the winner of both categories take home a grand total of $300 which will no doubt come in handy for performers to buy new equipment etc.
