There is no doubt that Kaitlyn Thomas has passion for music, over the last week she has been on radio station after radio station from 6am shows till 10pm shows giving interviews about her single ‘Somebody’s Mother’ which is released tomorrow as well talking all about her achievements and even picking up the guitar to amaze listeners with her version of Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene”, her live playing on radio reminds this writer of how performers used to turn up on radio all the time to play a tune and perhaps Kaitlyn is on to something by playing a song live on air because not only does a listener get to hear a studio recording but also a live recording at the same time which gives listeners an opportunity to see how much is real and how much is studio manipulated and YMA can tell you with absolute certainty that Kaitlyn sounds just as good or better than any studio recording, her performance last night was summed up by many in one word, wow.
Tomorrow is a big day for Kaitlyn, ‘Somebody’s Mother’ is released and she is also scheduled to play a show as well at Bennett’s Lane which is located at 25 Bennett’s Lane in Melbourne which is part of the David Jaanz School of Singing performances, the school is considered to be the Apple Inc of music schools in Australia churning out a steady stream of reality tv winners and high placers as well as hit makers and so if you are in the show then you are considered truly something and if you are learning there then there’s a good chance you’ll become something, if you would like to watch Kaitlyn and many of the other Jaanz taught stars in action tickets are on sale for $30 and details are available here.
