Today’s ‘Artist of the Day’ is sixteen year old Sean Emmett, Sean comes from the Australian state of NSW and is a singer/songwriter as well as an accomplished guitarist.

Sean Emmett was part of the return of popular Australian talent show Young Talent Time, Sean was frequently paired with Tyler Wilford with the two being a dynamic guitar playing combination on screen and great pals off screen, Unfortunately for Sean and his nine team mates the show ran during troubled times for the network it aired on and it was not renewed for a second season despite the show having no lack of fan devotion as was seen on the tour that taken place after the season came to an emotional close.

While such a fate could knock down a younger performer for good, Sean bounced back by continuing to do what he loved doing and now has several singles released on iTunes which examples being ‘Say Goodbye‘ and ‘Wannabe Bad Guys‘ while also releasing a steady amount of videos on YouTube including a cover of Lady Antebellum’s ‘Need You Now’ with fellow YTT member Lyndall Wennekes and at this time of writing just released video of a live acoustic version of ‘Lonely Boy’ which we encourage you to view below.

Sean currently has a band called Doc Emmett & The Flux Capacitors which is considered by YMA to be one the most creative and coolest band news on the planet, they have performed at Youthstock and has performed around Kiama in NSW while Sean also does solo shows in the local area.

Sean has pages on YouTube, Triple J Unearthed and Instagram and they are updated frequently so fans can check in on them often and see something new.

With his great vocals, wonderful determination and fantastic guitar playing, it is easy to see why Sean Emmett is today’s ‘Artist of the Day’.
