‘Us Against Them’ or ‘Us Against The World’ is two phrases words that I don’t find very appealing, there is a place for everyone in life, no single person or corporation can have 100% of a field that they specialize in because they need somebody else to provide them with equipment to be good at what they do.

I seen one group say that the people being taught by their organization was a bunch of David’s going after Goliath, I ask the question what happens after Goliath dies does the David take over? The answer is yes because that’s why you are fighting Goliath for, you are fighting for control of your destiny, fighting for your moment in the sun but unknowingly you may be depriving somebody of theirs, there is no need to fight a Goliath because there is plenty of room for all to do what is needed and there be plenty of room to spare.

For everyone who wins there is somebody who loses, for every dream realized is a another person’s dream broken, life isn’t fair but if we work hard enough together than life would be much fairer than what it would be if we were all cold to each other’s dreams and ambitions.

People are pushing towards stardom but as said before in reality there is room for everyone to get where they want to go, there is seven billion people on this planet with millions of different styles and tastes, you don’t have to be world dominant to have your ‘Garden of Eden’, being world dominant can do more harm to yourself than good because you’ll have to do things to management and studio specifications for example do radio interviews, TV interviews, magazine interviews, you’ll party hard to reward yourself but may end up in trouble, you’ll spend to get everything you desire but still feel empty, you may have to bury parts of your life, you’ll have people clamoring to be with you but you’ll wonder if you really know why they are with you in the first place, you’ll be photographed doing everything in your life, most of the top performers in this world do not write their own material, they get teams of people to do that for you therefore you lose part of your originality and a part of your creativity even if you are earning somebody a paycheck for years to come so just be aware that stardom could hurt you and those around you.

There is no set way to stardom, stardom can happen being spotted playing to a dozen people in a club, a school play, a random meeting all the way to performing on YouTube and a celebrity spots you, hopefully none of you will ever have to do something R rated to get somewhere like a certain person of a television family that starts with K, just be yourself perform everywhere you can but at a healthy pace and make your way across the nation and then the world, people love somebody who fought to where they have to be not somebody who just pops up at the top of the charts suddenly and they especially love somebody who is humble.

Always be humble with what you have, appreciate everything a family member, a friend, a fan does for you and never ever forget because without them you’d be missing a key part of your journey, help out fellow musicians in any way you can, got an open spot then invite them in, they got news they need help in sharing then share it on your page, what you do for others can last way after you played your final note of music, sometimes the big actions only make up a small percentage of a person it’s the little things that stack up in the end, do everything you can to make life better for people, you got the power to do good for the human race so if you got the opportunity use it for all it’s worth and do it quietly.

I recommend people find a film called ‘The Great Buck Howard’ it’s about a guy who hit the big time and is searching for it again, does he find it? If he does does it make him happy? Find out for yourself and you’ll learn something from this film, I promise you that just keep your eyes and ears open the whole way through, it’s alright to be considered small fries because at the end of the journey it may of been the most satisfying part of your life.

Those are my thoughts for today, hopefully food for thought for you.
